Event 17: EUA4X 2006 Annual Conference @ ICCFD4

The EUA4X 2006 Annual Conference was
hosted by the 4th International Conference on
Computational Fluid Dynamics (ICCFD4).
Participants to this event had the
opportunity to meet an important part of the
scientific community targeted in the EUA4X
project.
The ICCFD Conference is a specialised international conference mainly devoted to innovative algorithms and simulation methods for computational physics and fluid dynamics in particular. In the week before the Conference (3-7 July), a dedicated EUA4X workshop on numerical simulation algorithms (event 16) has been organized at VKI. In this workshop the theory of the EUA4X course event 12 has been put in practice. Participants to the workshop have priority for the selection of participants for event 17.

- 30 EU fellowships (25 Group 1 and 5 Group 2) were offered to young participants to attend the workshop.
