Event 08: State-of-the-art in Numerical Grid Generation: From Theory to Practice
Lecce, Italy ,
2005-10-03 09:00:00 -
2005-10-07 18:30:00
- The basic aim of the course was to provide a state of the art in numerical grid generation. Ranging from theoretical to application approaches the course overview dealt with effective solutions of domain discretization problems occuring in computational field simulations. Participants were introduced to grid generation expectations and appropriate solution methods, to structured and unstructured grids or mixed approaches, to grid quality investigation and adaption by an application oriented training which included also complementary participants' activities. This course is also available online at: http://www.eua4x.net/e-atelier/virtualschool
