Cristina Marras (TCN)
Cristina Marras received her Ph.D degree in Philosophy, with distinction, at Tel Aviv University (IL) in 2004. She conducted her research and academic activities in Italy, Germany, Israel and USA. Since 2004 she is consultant for Consorzio TCN and co-cordinator for the EUA4X project. Her main lines of research are: Theories, practices and organization of knowledge (conceptual networks and open communities); the heuristic and cognitive role of metaphor in science and philosophy; communication and intercultural mediation, in particular in scientific and academic fields; controversies and scientific tradition of early modern philosophy; G. W. Leibniz. She participated in several international research and exchange projects i.e."@gorà, dialogue table between Mediterranean universities"(RAS, L.19/96); "Altriponti. South-South exchange and Capacity-Building packages to raise public awareness of development issues"(EU program MED, B7-6000); "Controversies in the Republique des Lettres" (GIF). She was scientific consultant for the project “Masters programs in development of new simulation systems supporting decisional procedures”(MIUR and CRS4). She has been part of the team–work for the elaboration of the new curricula for life long learning programs in Sardinia, including Methodological Guides, Portofolio and a Repertoire,(RAS-POR, Mis. 3.5 D). She presented the results of her research and work in several international conferences and workshops, and she taught in Italy, Germany and Israel.
